Ever play in the backyard sprinkler when you were a kid? If it was a hot summer day and you couldn't get to a pool, that was pretty much your only shot at cooling off.
Apparently we humans are not the only ones attracted to playing in sprinklers.
This video was taken by Cory Williams in Eagle River, a suburb of Anchorage, Alaska. (Makes sense, you won't find too many moose in, say, Tulsa or Miami.) Williams set up the sprinkler in the yard for his visitors to try out, and it did not disappoint. Mom wasn't interested, but a baby moose is just as curious as a baby human, it turns out.
While his mother lurks cautiously in the background, being a spunky kid he decides to check out this green thing that is shooting up rain! At least we think that must be how he perceives it.
Hmmm, what is this? I'd better check it out.
Wow, it's really wet!
P.S. to the baby moose: When your mom says "don't run," she means it!
And if you liked this, you should also watch this raccoon, who plays a mean "sprinkler harp."
