A wedding is always a special day, and it's often the people in the wedding party who make it extra-special.
Kinsey French, a teacher from Louisville, Kentucky, had this in mind when she invited all the students from her class to be a part of her wedding day.
French is a special education teacher for kids with Down syndrome at a private Christian school. She currently has six students in her class, and she invited each and every one to be the flower girls and ring bearers in the wedding. Her students were there the day she got engaged. and French thought it would only be right to continue having them along for the journey.
"It was so exciting. It was really special for Josh [her husband] and myself just to have them a part of the day, and have them come with us and celebrate with us," she said to WLKY.
French teaches at Christian Academy's Providence School, which is designed for children with Down syndrome. She is clearly a teacher devoted to her students in and out the classroom. This was one of the sweetest bridal parties and memories were created that will last a lifetime.
From the looks of it, the kids had an amazing time at the wedding. Many of them said the best part was being on the dance floor.
"They were like family to me. They were my first class and they've been my only class and so I knew I couldn't have a special day without them," French said.
