This Macy’s Store Features Adoptable Dogs And Cats In Its Holiday Windows

Department store holiday windows are pretty festive any way you slice them. But take holiday windows and fill them with adoptable kittens and puppies to them, and they become the best holiday windows ever.

If you live anywhere near the San Francisco Bay Area (or are planning a trip) you won't want to miss the 30th annual Holiday Windows at Macy's on Union Square in San Francisco. As in years past, the display windows of Macy's will be full of adoptable dogs and cats from the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) that you can adopt right on the spot.

This year's windows will debut Friday, Nov. 18 and run through Jan. 1, so if you were even considering a visit to San Francisco this holiday season, here's all the more reason to do so.

Check out some of the images from last year:

So much sweetness.

Over 8,800 dogs and cats have found homes through this event over the years!

What a great way to promote adoption.

Because how could anyone resist a face like this?
