Motorcyclists Stop To Help A Stranded Biker—Who Turns Out To Be Bruce Springsteen

They even got to spend some significant time with The Boss.

When you stop to help someone on the side of the road, you’re generally just trying to offer your assistance without expecting anything in return.

So, little did this group of motorcyclists know, that their stopping to help a fellow stranded motorcyclist would lead to them getting a beer with none other than Bruce Springsteen.

That’s right! As Good News Network shared, Dan Barkalow, Bob Grigs and Ryan Bailey had the fortunate circumstance of stopping to help The Boss.

According to a post on Facebook, the three bikers were on their way home from a Veteran’s Day parade when they spotted a biker with his broken-down bike on the side of the road.

The men were unable to get Springsteen’s bike started, so they called for help. But, in the meantime, they took advantage of the opportunity to not only meet, but spend some time with the rock ‘n’ roll legend.

Apparently, he hopped on the back of one of their bikes and drove to a local place to stop and have a beer. After one round, his ride arrived. But, according to the post, he did take names and phone numbers of the men who stopped to help him. They’re hopeful that “maybe they’ll be riding together” someday.

Springsteen also posed for a photo op and Barkalow described him as a “ very down to earth, regular guy who fit right in with his fellow, not so famous, Freehold boys,” according to the Facebook post.

So, who knew that their good deed would turn into some quality time with such a famous musician. Makes you want to always stop and help if you see someone on the side of the road, now, doesn’t it?
