Steve Harvey is bringing talented kids from across America to your living room courtesy of NBC's hit show "Little Big Shots." A recent guest, Gavin Stevens, stole Harvey's heart, right along with the rest of ours.
Stevens is a 7-year-old singer with a rare form of Leber's Congenital Amaurosis (LCA) blindness. He sat beside Harvey on stage and said, "I love you." Harvey couldn't help but return the sentiment, and then began to rattle off the reasons why he loved him, too.
"You know why I love you?" he asked. "'Cause a few reasons. First of all, you have soul? in your soul you judge people for who they are not what they look like, so already you know how to judge people the right way. See, most people don't have that type of soul."
Harvey then went on to list out Stevens' many other virtues.
During Stevens' segment, he told the audience about the foundation his parents established to raise funds and awareness for LCA blindness. Then he performed a moving rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
