Is it just me or do twins seem to be everywhere these days? Turns out I'm not seeing double, twins are indeed a lot more common. According to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) the rate of twin births has actually increased 76 percent since 1980. Meaning one in every 30 babies born in the United States will be a twin.
There is something kind of magical about all these twins. Sure, they look alike, but the real magic lies in their special bond. From birth, twins are on the same team, working together to discover the world around them.
So often these multiples appear to have their own special language too. Â In fact, according to a study by the Institute of General Linguistics, this twin language, known as idioglossia, exists in 40 percent of all twins. So, it is no surprise the adorable twin girls featured in this video are getting a head start on a lifetime of secret chitchats.
Watch as these 3-month old cuties giggle and chat as they get to know each other outside of the womb.
The two tiny talkers have the internet swooning over their coos, as they appear to discover each other for the first time. Even more adorable, they seem unable to keep their hands off each other. And, how can you blame them? Imagine if you discovered someone who looked identical to you lying right next to you.  I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to stop touching that sweet face either.
