You probably know Phoebe Cates, 59, and Kevin Kline, 75, best for their status as 1980s Hollywood darlings. Cates turned heads with an iconic pool scene in 1982’s “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” and also had roles in other notable films from the decade, including “Gremlins” and “Shag.” Klein starred in “Sophie’s Choice” and “The Big Chill.” Cates and Kline met while auditioning for the latter film. Although she didn’t snag a part, Cates met the man she would one day marry.
The pair has been married since 1989, which makes for an impressively long union in Tinsel Town, especially considering their 16-year age gap.
Unlike some couples on this list, actors Annette Bening, 64, and Warren Beatty, 85, have proved that they can make their May-December relationship work for the long haul. The two have been married since 1992 and share four children.
Actors Michael Douglas, 78, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, 53, actually share the same birthday—a quarter of a century apart. The couple has been married since 2000 and have two kids together. Douglas revealed that the two like to have a good laugh about the years between them.
“[Zeta-Jones will say], ‘Oh honey, I can’t wait when you get older and you’re going to be in the wheelchair and I’m going to be wheeling you around and you’re going to be saying, ‘where are we going?’ and I’ll whisper it to you, ‘Cartier, darling, Cartier.’ She’s got it all figured out,” he told Hello Magazine.
Multi-talented entertainer Dick Van Dyke’s lifelong partner, Michelle Triola, passed away in 2009. Van Dyke, 96, has once again found love with makeup artist Arlene Silver, 51, whom he married in 2012.
“She’s very mature for her age and I’m very immature for my age so it’s just about right,” Van Dyke told Parade back in 2013.

Actor Zachary Quinto, 46, and model Miles McMillan, 34, have been a pair since 2013, and the couple lives together in New York City with their two dogs and a cat. McMillan is a painter as well as a model.
