Cubs Baseball Player Rides His Bike In Full Uniform To Wrigley Field

The Cubs' Ben Zobrist is living the dream.

Have you ever thought of riding your bike to work to get a little exercise and enjoy the fresh air?

If you’re nodding your head in agreement, but haven’t actually given bike-commuting a try, well, let Chicago Cubs second baseman Ben Zobrist show you how it’s done.

Let’s face it, this is the dream that every kid playing baseball likely has: riding your bike to play in the big leagues. Ben is literally realizing his boyhood dreams.

Ben and his family live in Chicago’s Wrigleyville neighborhood, which is the area that surrounds Wrigley Field. Ben decided to take advantage of the close proximity and rides his bike to the games.

“Ever since we’ve lived a mile away from Wrigley Field, I’ve wanted to ride my bike to the field, and I’ve been doing that this year, and I thought, I just need to bring my uniform home and ride ready for the game, on the way to the field,” Ben said on a video.

His wife Julianna shared a video of Ben in action on his way to work.

My man is an old soul who plays old school baseball. @cubs

And it’s important to note that he is sporting PF Flyers: “Guaranteed to make a kid run faster and jump higher.”

Thanks Ben for keep that child in you alive and showing us that dreams can come true!
