Celebrity Moms And Their Mini-Me Kids
It's hard to tell some of these duos apart!
These celebrity kids are dead ringers for their famous moms. Of course, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they look like the parent who gave them 50% of their DNA, but we still do a double-take when we see these mother-and-child pairings together.
In some cases, the resemblances are almost scary.
Christie Brinkley And Sailor Brinkley-Cook
Supermodel Christie Brinkley and her daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, could be sisters — and they’ve got more in common than just looks. Christie appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated eight times between 1975 and 2004, and Sailor, whose father is architect Peter Cook, made her debut for the magazine in 2017. Earlier this year, the mom and daughter walked the runway together for the first time, high-fiving each other as they crossed paths in the Elie Tahari show.
Angelina Jolie And Shiloh Jolie-Pitt
There’s no doubt about the relationship between Angelina Jolie and her daughter, Shiloh. Born in May 2006, Shiloh may have her dad Brad Pitt’s blond hair, but those lips are pure Jolie. Now a teenager, Shiloh continues to embrace her own personal style, refusing to conform to gender stereotypes. She’s always favored short hair, and shirts and pants over long locks and dresses — kudos to her famous parents for giving her the freedom to express herself however she likes.
Cindy Crawford And Kaia Gerber
The resemblance between Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber is incredible. The only thing Kaia doesn’t have is her mom’s trademark beauty mark, but it doesn’t matter. These models are two peas in a pod — and they know it. They both regularly share pics on their Instagram pages and comment on how alike they are.
Reese Witherspoon And Ava Phillippe
Reese Witherspoon and her daughter Ava look scarily alike. They share the same long blond hair, strong bone structure, blue eyes and wide smile. Ava resembles her dad, Ryan Phillipe, too — but it’s her mom who could be her twin. Time will tell whether Ava follows in her parents’ acting footsteps. The soon-to-be UC Berkeley sophomore is a talented artist, budding model and activist.
Madonna And Lourdes Leon
Style chameleon Madonna has changed her look dozens of times over the decades she’s been in the business, but when you see her next to her eldest child, Lourdes Leon, who was born in 1996, the resemblance is clear. In fact, looking at Lourdes is like looking at her megastar mom, circa 1989. Check out Madge with her long dark brown hair in the video for “Like a Prayer” and you’ll see what we mean.
Jerry Hall And Georgia May Jagger
Model Georgia May Jagger may have her rocker dad’s full lips, but she’s also a dead ringer for her mom with her statuesque frame, defined cheekbones and golden blond hair.
Georgia has inherited more than looks from her mom; she said in an interview with The Telegraph in 2016 that she had “some really funny ’80s dresses” that Hall had passed down to her daughters, adding that the former model “does go on about how she doesn’t have any good things anymore because we took them all, but I think she’s fine!”
Lisa Bonet And Zoe Kravitz
We think it’s Lisa Bonet on the right and her daughter Zoe Kravitz on the left … but we might be wrong. The two are so alike, they often get mistaken for sisters — and they share the same style, to boot. In 2011, Kravitz told ASOS magazine that she once visited a California thrift store and bought five garments without realizing her mom had donated all of them.
“I got home and was like, ‘I can’t believe I just paid for your clothes!’ Out of everything in the store, I’d bought my mother’s things,” she said.
Kris Jenner And Kendall Jenner
The world’s most famous momager and one of the world’s hottest models are undeniably related. Kris and Kendall Jenner share the same hair color, skin tone, lip shape and chocolate-brown eyes.
When Kendall wore a wispy, cropped pixie haircut on the Tom Ford runway in 2017, she revealed that she hadn’t ever really thought about cutting her hair that short before, and she added, “I do think I look a lot like my mother.”
Teresa Giudice And Milania Giudice
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is a mom of four, but it’s her daughter Milania who most resembles her. Teresa shared an Instagram picture from Milania’s 13th birthday in February 2019, and the similarities are striking: hazel eyes, face shape and dark, defined eyebrows. Wannabe rapper Milania has her sights set on a different career than her mom, however — she just dropped a single called “I Can’t Wait to Grow Up.”
Demi Moore And Rumer Willis
Demi Moore and her eldest daughter Rumer Willis will always have long legs and hazel-green eyes in common. And when hair-color chameleon Rumer has long dark hair, she looks even more like her A-list mom. Plus, of course, there’s the fact that Moore appears to be aging backward. In 2015, Rumer posted a photo to Instagram in which they actually appear to be the same person.
Jennifer Garner And Violet Affleck
Just like her famous mom, Jennifer Garner, Violet Affleck’s most defining features are her wide smile and adorable dimples. Of course, Violet looks a little like her dad Ben Affleck too, but she’s definitely a mini-Jen. On the other hand, Violet’s little sister Seraphina looks far more like Affleck, and the youngest of the Affleck clan, son Samuel, seems to be a pretty even mix of his parents.
Naomi Watts And Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete
When Naomi Watts posted her old school picture alongside photos of her two sons on Instagram, the resemblance was clear. Her eldest son Alexander (Sasha) — on the right in the picture — looks the most like her, but his little brother Samuel is clearly from the same gene pool. The boys’ dad, actor Liv Schreiber, agrees. He told Vanity Fair that he was shocked to have created “such beautiful children.” He added, “But then, of course, they look like their mother.”
Kate Beckinsale And Lily Mo Sheen
The eyes, the nose, the smile, the hair … yes, Lily Mo Sheen is definitely Kate Beckinsale’s daughter! The strong bond between this mother and daughter is clear: They’re regularly pictured together in their home city of New York, and Lily has accompanied her mom to red carpet events. Beckinsale and Lily’s dad, actor Michael Sheen, were together for eight years before they split in 2003 when Lily was 4 years old.
Uma Thurman And Maya Hawke
Maya Hawke, the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, has inherited her parents’ acting genes — she made her debut as Jo March in the 2017 BBC adaptation of “Little Women” and stars as Robin in the third season of “Stranger Things” — and she’s also inherited her mom’s looks. We could list all the features they have in common, but it would take too long. Suffice to say, they’re the definition of twinning.
Julianne Moore And Liv Freundlich
The resemblance between Julianne Moore and her daughter Liv Freundlich was clear when they turned up to New York Fashion Week together.
In 2014, they were featured in an edgy Vogue photoshoot celebrating “the moment’s reigning redheads,” captured by photographer Annie Leibovitz. During the shoot, Liv rolled her eyes and said, “It’s so weird” when asked about her mom changing her famous hair color for film roles.
Katie Holmes And Suri Cruise
Suri Cruise is 50% her dad Tom Cruise but she’s clearly her mother’s daughter. From a young age, she had Katie Holmes’ features and skin tone. Suri, who’s now 13 years old, hasn’t been seen with her dad for years but is often pictured on outings with her mom. A source told Hollywood Life that Holmes “has done so well raising Suri” and “is doing her very best to give her daughter a stable environment” despite the absence of her father.
Meryl Streep And Mamie Gummer
Actor Mary Willa “Mamie” Gummer (“The Good Fight,” “Cake”) isn’t as big a name in Hollywood as her Oscar-winning mother Meryl Streep, but she certainly has her mother’s features. The similarities are even more striking when they both wear their dark-rimmed glasses. In February 2019, Mamie gave birth to her first child, a baby boy, making Streep a grandmother for the first time.
Jessica Simpson And Ace
Much is made of the similarities between Maxwell Drew Johnson and her famous mom Jessica Simpson, but Simpson’s son Ace Knute Johnson looks just like her, too. In fact, a photo Simpson shared on her Instagram page shows that her little guy is her perfect doppelganger. We reckon the new addition to the family, daughter Byrdie May Johnson, who arrived in March 2019, will be lookalike No. 3. Those Simpson genes are strong!
Catherine Zeta-Jones And Carys Zeta Douglas
The Welsh roots are strong with this one. Carys Zeta Douglas is from Hollywood’s Douglas dynasty but she’s the image of her mom, Catherine Zeta-Jones. In 2018, Carys told Town & Country that she also shared her mom’s love of fashion and that Zeta-Jones was “like a fashion icon to me.”
“I’m always looking through her closet,” she added. She also revealed that growing up, she didn’t realize her dad was a famous actor. “I thought my dad was a pancake maker,” she said.
Kate Hudson And Ryder Robinson
Kate Hudson often shares pictures of her lookalike kids: son Ryder Robinson with ex-husband, musician Chris Robinson, son Bingham Hawn Bellamy with ex-partner, Muse rocker Matt Bellamy, and baby daughter Rani Rose Fujikawa with partner Danny Fujikawa. Rani Rose, who was born in October 2018, still has a lot of growing to do, but so far it’s eldest child Ryder who bears the strongest resemblance to his mom.
Emma Thompson And Gaia Romilly Wise
Emma Thompson and Greg Wise’s daughter, Gaia Romilly Wise, was born in 1999 and is following in the footsteps of her famous climate change activist mother. She’s also a dead ringer for the Oscar-winning actor, especially when they both have short hair. Thompson and Wise have another child, former Rwandan child soldier Tindyebwa Agaba Wise, whom they adopted after Thompson met him at the Refugee Council.
Gwyneth Paltrow And Apple Martin
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin kept their kids, Apple and Moses Martin, out of the public eye for a long time. But recently the famous exes have been sharing photos of their lookalike offspring on social media. Daughter Apple, who was born in 2004, is her mom’s mini-me, as this sweet snap from Paltrow’s Instagram page shows. Paltrow just needs to dye her hair pink for the full #twinning effect.
Vanessa Paradis And Lily-Rose Depp
Her dad is Johnny Depp but Lily-Rose Depp’s appearance has the same “je ne sais quoi” of her French mom, Vanessa Paradis. The chic pair have the same eyes, cheekbones and mouth. It’s no surprise Chanel chose Lily-Rose to be the face of their Chanel No.5 L’Eau scent — 25 years after long-time Chanel ambassador Paradis fronted their Coco fragrance campaign in 1991. Like her mom, Lily-Rose has also branched into acting, with roles in “The Dancer” and “Planetarium” already under her belt.
Kate Moss And Lila Grace Moss Hack
Kate Moss’ daughter, Lila Grace, definitely has her mother’s model looks, and in 2018 she followed in those runway-stomping footsteps, signing with Moss’ talent agency, the Kate Moss Agency. Lila Grace has already scored a beauty campaign for Marc Jacobs and appeared on the cover of Dazed & Confused (her dad, Jefferson Hack, is co-founder and CEO of its parent company, Dazed Media).
Jennifer Lopez And Emme Maribel Muñiz
Jennifer Lopez and her then-husband Marc Anthony welcomed twins in February 2008 — a son named Maximilian David Muñiz and a daughter named Emme Maribel Muñiz. Both kids have J.Lo’s big brown eyes and dark hair, but Emme, in particular, is a ringer for the star. What’s more, Emme appears to have inherited her mom’s musical talent, too. J.Lo brought Emme out during the kick-off of her “It’s My Party” tour for a duet of “Limitless,” in matching red gowns.
