Celebrities With Face Tattoos - The Delite

Celebrities With Face Tattoos

It’s not uncommon to see Hollywood stars with at least a tattoo or two these days. But while plenty of celebrities have gotten inked on various parts of their body, not many have dared make the leap to their face — until now, that is. In recent years, it seems face tattoos have become more mainstream. Case in point: Justin Bieber made headlines last year for getting two separate designs inked on his face.

But he’s hardly the only one to use his face as a canvas. Check out some of the other musicians, actors and other public figures who have flaunted face tattoos.

Post Malone

When you think of face tattoos, one of the first celebrities to come to mind is probably Post Malone. The music artist has “Stay Away” inked in curly script on his forehead, as well as the words “Always” and “Tired” below each eye and barbed wire just below his hairline. When asked about the reasoning behind his facial ink, he joked to Capital XTRA:  “Anything to piss my mom off.”

Kat Von D

Tattoo artist Kat Von D obviously isn’t afraid to go bold with her ink, so it’s not surprising that she eventually decided to use her face as a canvas. She has a cascade of blue stars trailing down the left side of her forehead and upper cheek. She also has a small lightning bolt on her right upper cheek, below her eye.

Kehlani

The singer has multiple tattoos on her face, although some are so small, you could miss them if you don’t look closely. She has four tiny freckle-like dots, as well as a paper plane, below her eye.  She also has a small queen of hearts design on the side of her face, closer to her ear.

Tekashi 6ix9ine may be as well known for his face tattoos as he is for his music. The rapper, who is currently facing some serious prison time for charges ranging from armed robbery to conspiracy to commit murder, has his trademark “69” tattoo above his eye, as well as a variety of other ink on his face. He added to his collection of face tattoos in late 2018, adding “Brooklyn” to his upper forehead as an homage to the borough where he grew up.

Halsey

Halsey took to Instagram to reveal her face ink in 2018. The singer shared a photo of a tiny Queen of Diamonds tattoo positioned just in front of her left ear. Though Halsey has over 20 known tattoos, the subtle design marked the first time she got one done on her face.

“Headed straight for the castle. @nal.tattoo 💉💉 thanks for my first (and only hopefully lol) face tattoo ♦️♦️♦️♦️,” she captioned the shot.

Gucci Mane

In 2011, Gucci Mane made headlines for getting a giant three-scoop ice cream cone with the word “brrr” inked on his face. Fans were initially shocked by the ink, particularly since it appeared shortly after a brief stay at a mental health facility. But the rapper’s spokesperson later explained the meaning behind the tattoo, telling Rolling Stone that the image is “a reminder to fans of how he chooses to live his life. Cool as ice. As in ‘I’m so icy, I’ll make ya say Brr.’”

Mike Tyson

When it comes to face tattoos, Mike Tyson is the OG. In 2003, the boxer decided to get an enormous tribal tattoo on the left side of his face. The ink quickly become one of the most recognizable things about him, but Tyson insists he doesn’t regret getting it.

“A lot of stuff happened out of this tattoo, a lot of good stuff,” he told Sports Illustrated in 2016.

Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne has used his entire body as a canvas for inked artwork. The rapper has many tattoos on his face, including what are perhaps his most well-known tattoos, the infamous teardrops. He also has some skateboard logos and phrases like “Fear God” and “I am music.”

Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa is pretty much covered with tattoos from head to toe, including a collection of fairly small designs on his face. Among some of his face ink: a star and a peace sign.

Travis Barker

We’ve lost count of how many tattoos Travis Barker has all over his body, but he’s kept the ink on his face fairly subtle — until recently. For years, the Blink-182 drummer only had an anchor on one of his temples and a star on his cheek. But in 2018, the musician added a third, more in-your-face (ha, get it?) tattoo — the word “Blessed,” as shared below by his tattoo artist.

Lil Pump

At the start of his rise to fame, Lil Pump’s face was devoid of ink. But as his fan base has continued to grow, he’s quickly changed his look. The rapper now sports several different face tattoos, including some space-themed ones, like the alien and UFO that rest on opposite sides of his forehead.

The Game

The rapper was one of the first to jump on the face tat trend, although he’s changed up his design multiple times. The original ink was of a butterfly. He later changed it to an L.A. Dodgers logo. In 2011, he added to the tattoo by getting a star put around the logo. What’s his advice when it comes to face ink?

“Know what you’re gonna get and know what it’s gonna do for you,” he said, per VH1.

Soulja Boy

Soulja Boy also jumped on the face ink bandwagon early. The artist has numerous face tattoos, including a star, a cross and, most infamously, a Gucci logo tattooed right between his eyebrows. He later got some of the ink, including the Gucci tattoo, removed via laser treatment, saying, “I made some mistakes when I was younger.”

Migos

You can count all three members of Migos — Quavo, Offset and Takeoff — among the group of rappers with face tats. In 2018, Offset had Kulture, the name of his and Cardi B’s baby, tattooed on his cheek. Meanwhile, Quavo has tattoos over both eyebrows, including “Y.R.N” and a black crown. Takeoff also positioned his ink, the name “Edna,” over his eyebrow.

DeShawn Stevenson

The NBA star has plenty of tattoos, including several on his face. The basketball player has his son Londyn’s name near his temple (captured below), as well as a backward Pittsburgh Pirates logo on his cheek.

Trace Cyrus

In addition to having his abdomen and entire torso covered almost entirely in tattoos, Miley Cyrus’s brother also has ink on his face, including a cross, the word “Ashland” and many, many others. But he seems pretty sure he won’t regret the tats.

“One of the things I love in life is art. That’s one reason my entire body is covered in tattoos,” he says of his look, per The Daily Mail.

Birdman

Throughout his career, Birdman has had no shortage of face ink. The rapper covered his head and face in tattoos, including everything from stars to teardrops and a cross, among plenty of others.

Rick Ross

Rick Ross isn’t afraid to go all out when it comes to his face ink. He’s gotten plenty of tattoos — both on his body and his face — throughout the years. In 2015, he reportedly got five face tattoos at a New Jersey tattoo parlor, including the Miami Heat crest, the MMG logo, the letter W and some crosses.

Lil Xan

The up-and-coming rapper has landed in a lot of headlines lately — not only because of his messy breakup with Noah Cyrus, but also because of his many face tattoos. Among the ink are the phrases “ZZZ” (apparently meant to signify his general sleepiness) and “Memento Mori” (a tribute to late rapper Mac Miller, which translates from Latin to “remember that you will die”).

There are also several others, including ink that spells out “Lover” and “Candy.” Of the latter, he explained, ”My mom’s name is Candy. I did it because I wanted a face tattoo and I was like, my mom’s gonna kill me, but if it’s her name, she might not be too harsh about it.”

Wait, I think I’m actually on board with this logic?”

Tyga

Tyga reportedly has over 100 tattoos all over his body, including several on his face. But while he may not regret his face ink, chances are he does wish he never got that “Kylie” tattoo on his arm for his ex, Kylie Jenner. After their split, the rapper had the lettering covered.

Mötley Crüe member Nikki Sixx has a small star tattooed on his cheek. The tattoo was reportedly done by none other than Kat Von D, whom he reportedly dated for a period of time around 2008.

CeeLo Green

CeeLo Green’s face ink often goes unnoticed, but he actually has several designs on his visage. The musician has a cross tattooed below one eye and the word “TRILL” positioned above his ear, among others.

21 Savage

The rapper has some signature face ink, most notably a dagger tattoo on his forehead that runs down between his eyebrows. Fans are so accustomed to the musician’s look that they were left shocked when, in 2016, he seemed to suggest on Instagram that he had gotten rid of the ink. He later revealed he was just trolling everybody, writing, “Come on man. This [expletive] for life.”

Sinéad O’Connor

Though this list is full of celebs who don’t seem to regret their face ink at all, there is one star who made it clear she wished she never went there. In 2013, Sinéad O’Connor debuted two new face tattoos, a “B” on her right cheek and a “Q” on her left. The letters were reportedly meant to remind her of an argument she had with ex Brendan Quinlan. Less than a year later, the late singer got the tattoos lasered off, saying the ink had become “stupid [expletive] on my face.”
