According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, more people own exotic or specialty pets now than they ever have. Celebrities are no exception. In fact, it seems that stars have had unique, fascinating and sometimes mind-boggling animals in their homes long before average families started adopting ferrets, lizards or other less traditional pets.
Here are some of the cute and crazy creatures that have belonged to famous people.

In 1959, Audrey Hepburn was preparing for her role in the film “Green Mansions” directed by her husband, Mel Ferrer. Hepburn became quite attached to the little deer, which was named Pippin.

Apparently, the family no longer owns the emu, as she told James Corben that her husband gave it to an emu farm as a gift to his wife.
Chris Brown and His Capuchin Monkey
Singer Chris Brown purchased a baby monkey as a Christmas gift for his daughter. However, the present has caused Brown some legal troubles.
