We Love These Heartwarming And Hilarious ‘Everyday Bravery’ Pins

Why shouldn't we celebrate life's little victories?

Let’s be real: Life isn’t always easy. From workplace stress to family drama to health issues to money problems—being an adult ain’t for the faint of heart!

However, we often tend to be too hard on ourselves. We don’t celebrate our little victories and accomplishments. We never give ourselves credit for the small, yet awesome, things we achieve each day. But, making the most of life’s “little wins” can bring a much-needed smile to our face, improve our confidence, and help to ensure that we keep bringing our A-game everyday.

To that end, artist Emily McDowell is trying to ensure that we all give ourselves a much-needed pat on the back each and every day. She’s selling a cute and clever line of “Everyday Bravery” enamel pins to celebrate all of life’s little victories—from the mundane (“Drank Enough Water”) to the monumental (“Got Sober”) to the just plain funny (“Ignored The Haters”).

Hey, we’ve all had to confront someone who just didn’t like us. Why not celebrate the fact that you survived it?

This one could commemorate many different struggles.

People are loving the pins, and they have already touched so many hearts. Plus, they make awesome gifts!

McDowell also makes amazing greeting cards that sum up just about anything you might want to say. If you have ever wandered in a greeting card aisle for eons, struggling to find a card that wasn’t cheesy or phony or just “not you,” then you’re going to love McDowell’s cards. Seriously, the woman is wise and her cards are just. . .poetry. You will never want to buy a meaningless drugstore card again.

She also makes everything from tote bags to mugs to magnets and more—all with her signature pithy statements.

And she just co-wrote and illustrated a book! It’s called “There Is No Good Card for This: What To Say and Do When Life Is Scary, Awful, and Unfair to People You Love.” If it is half as funny and wise as her cards and art (which we’re sure it will be), it’s gonna be a must-read!
